Ablewell Advice is a people-centred support network providing services for all residents of Walsall. Established in 2012, Ablewell Advice is an initiative of the Central Hall Methodist Church providing free confidential help specializing in debt and benefits advice and providing a job club and computer skills training as well as acting as the distribution centre for the Black Country Food Bank. 

Mossley Big Local is a resident led partnership made up of local people and partners who want to make the area ‘a vibrant, happy and healthy community offering a clean and safe place to live with busy, well used and self-sustaining community facilities offering services and support for all residents’. They support a range of activities all with the aim of bringing the local people of Mossley together which brings a huge sense of community and ownership.

Nash Dom CIC is an Eastern European and Russian-speaking Community Support and Business Development Centre working with community representatives, businesses, individuals and other 
related organisations from across eleven communities that include Slovaks, Poles, Lithuanians, Czechs, Latvians, Georgians, Belarusians, Romanians, Moldovans and Armenians.

Pheasey Book Borrowers opened in September 2017 run by a group of enthusiastic volunteers, supported by their local Councillors, and funded by CareFirst, a company providing day care for young people with learning difficulties with whom they also share the premises. In addition to a constantly updated lending library, the Borrowers host two reading groups, a Saturday Lego Club and hugely popular Knit and Natter and Crochet Groups, donating beautiful knitted comfort items to local hospitals and other organisations. The volunteers run a number of social events such as talks by local authors and musical evenings along with fundraising mornings for both local and national charities, providing a much needed and thriving centre for the local Pheasey Community.

The THOMAS Project is a local community charity aiming to make an impact in the Leighswood area of Aldridge through providing training and education, healthcare information, opportunities for life, ministry and mission, achieving change and supporting those in need. 

Midlands Langer Seva Society are an organisation that strives to help those in need around the UK. The charity was established October 2013 in Walsall providing hot food and drink to those living on the street, schools, safe houses and those on the poverty line. MLSS operates on Sikh based ethos, where we help and support all people regardless of social status.

Open Door offers vulnerable young people safe accommodation with Host Families – individuals, couples and families who live in the Black Country. A young person placed with a Host will receive a package of support from YMCA Black Country Group to help them gain the confidence and skills they need to become independent adults.

The Afghan Community and Welfare Centre promotes the welfare and benefit of the Afghan community and other migrant communities in Walsall and the wider West Midlands. The Centre provides services such as advice and information especially on immigration, health, welfare and benefits and housing as well as language classes, adult education classes and recreational and leisure activities for communities.

Pelsall Book Exchange opened in July 2017 and is led by Brownhills Community Association and run by Volunteers. Its aim is to provide a welcoming and friendly service for the local Community where people can borrow books from a large selection of authors.

Talking SENse! is a charity offering independent and affordable services to parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities. It was founded by Ken Upton working in partnership with a range of other parents. It was these parents that agreed the name and the logo. They provide independent specialist advice, advocacy and support to parents on local authorities’ legal duties to assess and provide for children with special educational needs. 

The Walsall Night Shelter is a ground breaking project that involves support and co-operation from groups that represent 3 different religious faiths. Muslims, Christians and Hindus together ensure that the homeless of Walsall can get a nutritious hot meal every evening at the night shelter. Partners include YMCA, As-Suffa, Walsall BME, Walsall Outreach and Sewa Kitchen. The Project has achieved national acclaim for its work in fostering interfaith co-operation and harmony.
