Priority 2
Tackling Poverty Through Social Justice
Our vision is for a fairer Walsall—where the root causes of poverty and exclusion are addressed, and all residents have the opportunity to live with dignity, wellbeing, and purpose.
Walsall for All CIC is committed to challenging structural inequality by placing lived experience at the heart of change. We will work with communities to highlight injustice, amplify underrepresented voices, and promote practical solutions that improve people’s lives.
We believe social justice is not just a principle, but a practice—one that calls for collaboration, honesty, and bold leadership. Through our work, we aim to promote fairness, strengthen community voice, and drive inclusive systems change across Walsall.
What will we do?
Walsall Social Justice Report
Findings from our 2024 Social Justice Call for Evidence will influence local policy and programming.
Promote Health and Wellbeing
We will address health inequalities by ensuring that communities most at risk are engaged and supported.
Strengthen Community Voice and Leadership
We will support residents who have experienced poverty or exclusion to step into visible leadership roles.
Workshops on Dignity and Stigma
We will create safe, participatory spaces where residents and service providers can learn, reflect, and act.
Embed Equity in All Our Work
Social justice will not sit in isolation—we will embed equity, dignity, and fairness into the design of every WFA programme and partnership.
What does this mean for the people of Walsall?
